A collaborative home furnishing/assemblage by Michael Modene, Nick Larsen and myself for Jen Graham's 'Reinventing History' at GASA. The work, for me, exposes one's fears as truly bitch ass. My contributions are centered around serial killer David Middleton, who was responsible for taking the life of my third grade teacher. Some art-making tools serve as a replacement to the 'voodoo machete' he used to brutally torture and kill his victims.

Devin and I met in the seventh grade. We perpetually challenged each other over the last decade and today I miss him very much. I'm grateful to have seen a side of his life that maybe no one else was privy to, but fearful of forgetting the details that he was so good at locking down.
